After a somewhat arduous journey from Koh Phangan, we are in Cambodia!
Things we didn’t know about visiting Angkor Wat:
- Visas to enter Cambodia cost $30USD.
- You need a recent passport photo to enter. But if you don’t have you you pay $2USD extra so no biggie.
- Everything is in US dollars. Everything…we changed all our US dollars into Cambodian Riel when we arrived because somehow we didn’t know that and now we are converting everything back to USD lol.
- The Golden Mango Inn where we are staying is a gorgeous hotel with super helpful people.
- Hello is “suisadai.”
- Thank you is “ankón.”
- This place is beautiful!
Today we go visit the temples!!
