Today was really special. Sammy and I visited with my nuovo zio, Enrico! It was lovely and sweet to be with someone I am now related to. The more we hang out w Sammy’s family, I’m realizing I am now a part of that family. I spent last night with my nuova Zia, Sammy’s aunt/cousin Lia and we had aperitivi with her before cena/dinner today as well. We spent time with Sammy’s cousin Ludo – who we will be with again most of tomorrow – for a mid morning cappuccino and a beer after dinner. We are living the life, and I just feel so damn lucky.
